Definitely read this information for Independent Option parties! This information is required.
1. The
person packing MUST first watch the brief video showing how to pack up, and then pack up according to the instructions in the video. Please don't attempt to pick up without first doing this. There are four code words hidden within the packup video. You must watch the video if picking up, and report the four words back to us.
2. People picking up the inflatable are responsible for wiping down or cleaning the inflatable before use. If we were setting up, we would do that for you. We can supply any cleaning products necessary for this at pick up time. Because you chose the independent option, we will not give a refund nor additional discount, if some extra cleaning is required.
3. Our pick up location is normally 490 Maureen Street. Special instructions: Go through the gate, keep right, go across both sets of tracks, keeping right. We are down the road about 150m on the left hand side where the trucks and trailers are. You will see a long blue trailer with our yellow Fun-Tastic Castles sign. Here is a map to our
pick up location.
4. Do not come to pick up in a car! For all medium sized or large inflatables, you must bring a pick-up truck or trailer. Small inflatables only (and including the Lego Castle), should fit in a minivan or SUV with seats down, and not filled with groceries or children / car seats.
5. Please note that if your party is at City of Thunder Bay Community Centres (i.e. North End Rec, N. McIntyre Rec, West Arthur cc, West Thunder cc, Oliver Road, S. Neebing, Vicker's Heights cc), you will not be able to do the Independent Option. Instead use the
Recommended Packages page. Also at these locations, according to City of Thunder Bay rules, Fun-Tastic Castles must supply a supervisor. These two rules do not apply to bookings at Castlegreen cc, FWFN Bingo Hall, FWFN Arena gym, Conmee cc, Evangel Church, and other non-City run places.)
6. Please always have a supervisor on duty supervising the kids while they are playing. To reduce risk, please do not overcrowd the inflatable--each inflatable has a recommended number of children that can play comfortably or even safely. Also please inquire about the recommended age limit for each inflatable==they are all different. Children should not run up the slide or slide down the stairs--kids may easily get hurt when this happens. It is best that heavier children do not jump next to small children as they may fall into each other resulting in injury.
7. Please do not allow children to bring in food, drinks, candy nor gum into the inflatables.
